Kansas Community Mediation Services is a non profit agency that serves Shawnee County and Northeast Kansas. It is our purpose to provide mediation services to those in dispute and to help them use the benefits of mediation to find solutions to their disputes while at the same time retain or repair relationships that exist between all parties.

• Mediation can be quicker and cost less than court.
• Mediation can help to preserve and improve relationships.
• Mediation could include other parties
• Mediation can help define the issues
• Mediation sees restitution as a means to furthering the justice process.

The services provided by Kansas Community Mediation Services are Victim Offender Mediation, Parent Adolescent Mediation, Restorative Justice, and Specialized Mediation.
